Our Concept on how we would like to learn...

Dear Friends,
I haven’t been contributing of recent because of some shortcomings I had encountered.
I will however gladly welcome this idea of letting our voices be heard globally especially in the Areas of Education as regards Information and communications Technologies in Africa.
In the modern World today, the adoption of an ideal information Technology technique is basic because of its advantages as regards efficiency and time.
However, the low prevalence of such services and equipments in Africa is a selective or rather outstanding reason as to why the same is not likely to take on as in so far its compliance is concerned.
How I or We would like to Learn

While at an internet café, I happened to think and all I could resolve about was on how convenient it was doing using a computer to access, keep work and send particular information from one place to another.
I then went on and interviewed people on this fact and the excerpts are below;
I would not be that selfish to leave out other people’s voice since I had pledged to carry out surveys and deliver accordingly in response to the prevailing weekly topic on our Student voices project.
Ugandans especially in the areas I have so far visited including Kampala, Luwero, Jinja, Mukono, Mpigi and Wakiso agitate for the adoption of ICTs. The state that such means or system is good especially for ease of reference, storage of material (work) and other related advantages.
They suggest that bringing of ICTs to classes would change the era and manifest the new world order where they (as Africans) will be in position to move at a pace other World powers are at. “Why always leave us behind yet we have the brains to contain and absorb whatever it may take to know the basics required to operate the instruments.” One peasant Mukasa Sulaiman from Naluwerere Village, Wakiso District stated.
All they believe is that the teaching staff in all schools should be encouraged to become proficient in the use of ICT equipments and tools in education delivery. This then would mean making ICT studies part of the schools’ year to year curriculum to include early stages of study for the benefit of all. This would encourage the creation and staffing of Educational Technology Department in all schools.
Still today, the idea can pick up once regular skill workshops are organized for teachers to impart both skills and creativity once necessary equipments prevail.
All in all I or We would be of the view that ICTs be adopted for the ease of all in the Education sector.
With all the above ideals adopted, The Electoral commission will be in position to mobilize and efficiently facilitate the prevailing shortcomings it may encounter, the Ugandan Parliament and other Parliaments in Africa will have a greater and more appropriate accountability to handle in case of rigging of elections and the likes, etc.
Photos are attached to elaborate my work.
