"What are your dreams and concerns for the future of education?"
Introduction of ICTs in Africa’s Education system will help students carry out Research, on various subjects through use of Computer-Internet system access. This then could as well be of great importance as far as information storage for future use by Teacher and students is concerned.
The adoption of ICTs will help in the building of global distance learning centres which I believe will foster development, through exchange of ideas with diverse personalities throughout the World educationist will be in position to seek relevant Educational skill.
In addition to the above, Uganda and most of the African countries’ reliance on Agro based Economies, new and developmental techniques will be acquired especially in the fight against bacterial and other infections of danger to the crops farmed.
Teaching Educational staff as a strategy by the Ministry in charge will help in the proficiency or use of ICTs in Schools. This will encourage the creation and staffing of Educational Technology Department in all schools.
Efficiency in the different Goervernment parastetals with the adoption of ICTs will be effected.
